HandsOn Inland Empire Needs YOU! Become a Volunteer Leader and Help Your Community!

January 31, 2012

A Volunteer Leader with HandsOn Greater D.C. gives a pep talk to volunteers before working with kids.

Across the nation, dedicated volunteers are using their hobbies and passions to make a difference in their local communities. HandsOn Inland Empire is calling on members of the I.E. to use their skills to benefit those less fortunate in the local community. Dancing, cooking, sewing and knitting, playing games, reading, writing, working with animals—whatever your passion is, you can use it to help others!

This month, HandsOn Inland Empire is hosting two free trainings that will inform you of how you can transform your passion into a volunteer program! This valuable training is designed to help each individual in attendance discover how they can best help the community that surrounds them.

Volunteer Leaders from HandsOn New Orleans lead a group meeting before a community revitalization event.

Along the way, you’ll learn:

  • Best practices for managing groups of volunteers
  • How to recruit volunteers using the HandsOn website
  • How a volunteer program like yours can help local non-profits succeed

Anyone can make a difference once they set their mind to it. This training will show you how!
